Summer Olympic Biographies Activity Pack!

don't know about you, but one of my favorite parts of watching the Olympics is hearing the Bios about each of the athletes before they race!! This activity Pack highlights 5 of America's Top 2012 Olympic hopefuls with a biography for each one, as well as Vocabulary activities for each of the different sports represented by the 5 athletes AND several Fun and Super Engaging creative activities the students can do to reflect on what they have learned and peak their interest even more about each of the 5 athletes included in this pack! This is a great idea, although most of the athletes are so young that there isn't much to research about their lives. My students are amused when they ask for biographies of people in the news and I tell them I only buy biographies after the people pass away, so the information doesn't change.
